Dear Sir / Madam,
Guten Tag! Thank you for reading this mail. I had applied for a personal tourism visa (application number ******) and had an interview on Nov 22, 2010. On Dec 2, I finally got my passport back along with a refusal letter with the following reason:
I am writing this letter to express the feeling of being hurt, disappointed and, frankly speaking, offended. As a well-educated Chinese citizen who has a decent job, all that I wish is to spend my holiday in Deutschland, the country that I have been dreaming about since I was a teenager. In the past few weeks, I have spent almost all my spare time planning for this trip. If you could spare sometime to take a look at the attachment, you will see that not only a detailed itinerary (hard-copy have been provided in the interview) with transportation timetable that I search in website of Deutsch Bahn and MVV network, I also budgeted the spending of this trip, made a list of attractions as backup, in case I cannot go the planned ones for some unexpected reason, such as bad weather condition, I could still have other choices. I have booked hotels and provided booking confirmation letters from Booking.com as required. I have even paid for the round-trip air-ticket to Deutschland though only reservation is required. Please believe that I want this trip to be perfect more than anyone else. I think you might understand how I feel when being challenged as "not credible" after all these efforts I have made. Somewhat I feel that I have been accused as a liar, though I have done nothing wrong. I just feel sad and confused.
I totally understand and believe that there is nothing personal. However, I can NEVER accept being challenged for something that I have NEVER done. I do think I have provided everything that I have been required to prove my purpose of the travel to Deutschland. I think I should be told if you think anything that I provided is fake or invalid, or any supplemental material is needed. If further information is needed, please feel free to contact me be either replying this mail, or call my cell phone +86-137-****-****. To avoid mis-communication or misunderstanding, I will be much appreciated if I will be offered a chance of face-to-face communication.
Thanks for your patience of reading this mail. Looking forward to you reply.
Sincerely,
Lissy
